Ok. Right now, a pet store in Thornton is considering beefing up security after someone stole two yorkie puppies while they were open. This happened yesterday at Pet Ranch off of East 100 and 20th in Thornton. That's just a few miles from I 25. You can see here the pet store sending us these videos and photos from their security cameras. Someone walks in, picks up the Yorkies from their cage and simply walks out with them. The store says the puppies are chipped, which could help in finding them. The bigger concern is their health. They are so small, they could go hypoglycemic if they're not fed correctly or the amounts that they need hypoglycemia is when a dog's blood sugar is very low. So the dogs here, they're also on a specific type of food. If they're not given that food, they could have upset stomachs or problems in their G I tract. Now, Thorn police tell us they are trying to help the pet store find these dogs.
They ask anyone who might have information to call their non emergency line. That number is on your screen right now..
