How to SURVIVE a Dog ATTACK! #dogtraining #dogtrainer

Years ago my wife and I were attacked by an
off-leash pit bull and I've also broken up   hundreds of fights during my career. Here's
what to do if a dog attacks you! First don't   turn your back and don't run. Dogs are excited by
energy and they also prey upon weakness. If you   turn your back and run you better be Usain Bolt
and you better hope there's a hospital nearby   because you're going to meet your deductible!
Next think about your body and your energy.   Square yourself up make yourself look bigger
and tougher tell them no in a stern voice and   do not break eye contact.

Some people will tell
you not to anger the dog. Horrible advice! If   that dog can be intimidated you better do
it and guess what if it's so big and bad   it can't be intimidated it's going to attack you
either way so you might as well try. If the dog   slows down as it gets to you slowly back away
keeping your focus and your energy on the dog.   If the dog comes in for the attack use your foot
to defend yourself, never lead with your toe,   never turn your foot sideways way too easy
for them to grab it and pull you off balance..
