A cubic meter of deep space would make you freeze instantly due to the lack of atoms.

Temperature is a measure of the average kinetic energy of atoms in an object or space. The more average energy these atoms have, the “hotter” the temperature. At absolute 0, the atoms have no energy, and would stop moving completely. This temperature is said to be physically impossible to achieve, though scientists have gotten close!
